In a very one-sided bout, unbeaten WBO junior middleweight champion Sergiy Dzinziruk (36-0, 24 KOs) scored a tenth round TKO over late sub Daniel Dawson (34-2, 24 KOs) on Friday night at the Chumash Casino Resort in Santa Ynez, California.
Making his US debut, southpaw Dzinziruk demonstrated a stiff jab that dictated the pace. He didn’t look like a fighter who had been out of action for 18 months, as he never let Dawson into the fight.
