Renowned trainer Emanuel Steward talked today to a group of Puerto Rican trainers as part of the 24th World Boxing Organization (WBO) Annual Convention held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel located in Isla Verde, Carolina, Puerto Rico.
Steward, who trained among others, former World Champions as Thomas Hearns, Oscar de la Hoya, Lennox Lewis, Evander Holyfield and more recently World Champion, Miguel Cotto, talked to the trainers about some strategies, boxers feeding, some techniques and other themes during the Seminar he lead. Steward is the trainer of the WBO Heavyweight Super champion Wladimir Klitschko and also a TV Commentator for HBO.
2012 CONVENTION WILL TAKE PLACE IN MIAMI, FLORIDA
Meanwhile, today, during the General Assembly-Executive Committee Second Session, was announced that the 25th WBO Annual Convention will take place in Miami, Florida. Also, WBO honored Combat Space for their 25 years in boxing broadcasting, and gave some regional awards.
For tomorrow, Thursday, October 27, their will be the Championship and Ratings Committee Meetings from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and the General Assembly and Executive Committee Closure. All that tomorrow’s works will be broadcast by the WBO on www.facebook.com/WorldBoxingOrganization.
