Promoter Frank Warren is not holding a grudge against Joe Calzaghe. Warren promoted Calzaghe for over a decade until the two had a bad falling out in 2008. Amir Khan’s mega showdown against Mexican legend Marco Antonio Barrera is still on for March 14th at the Manchester Evening News Arena. There had been concerns that the fight would have to be postponed following the cut Barrera received last Saturday night against Freudis Rojas in Mexico, but following a thorough medical examination “The Baby-Faced Assassin” has been given the all clear to box. Barrera needed two stitches to close the gash.
