Drozd vs. Alekseev on Nov. 28

Fightnews has learned that two of the best Russian cruiserweight contenders Alexander Alekseev (18-1, 16 KOs), who is promoted by the Universum Box-Promotion, and German Titov’s Grigory Drozd (32-1, 24 KOs) will collide in an explosive all-action crossroader on November 28 in Oberhausen, Germany.
 
The fight will be scheduled for twelve rounds. Drozd’s WBO Asia Pacific and the vacant WBO European 200lb belts are going to be put at stake. The collision was confirmed to Fightnews personally by Alekseev, who is ranked WBC/WBA/WBO #4. WBO #1, WBA #2, IBF #4 and WBC #6 Drozd also possesses PABA and WBC ABCO cruiserweight belts. Both fighters are regarded to be the elite of this weight class, which will set the fight for some fireworks.
