Unbeaten middlweight contender Gennady Golovkin scored a second round KO over Brazilian John Anderson Carvalho.
Golovkin is now 17-0, 14 KOs and he has also acquired the vacant WBO Intercontinental middleweight belt. Carvalho dropped down to 19-4, with 11 KOs. Golovkin is ranked #3 by the WBC/WBA and he is also the fourth-ranked boxer in the WBO rating.
